Q: What do I need to bring?

Q: Will I get wet?
A: Yes, when you get into and out of the kayak. You will only get wet to the middle of your shin.
Q: Can I just do a half day?
A: Yes you can. We have half day rentals and guided trips available. Please enquire for availability.
Q: What bikes do you have?
A: We use Specialised Bikes for all our biking trips. We have the Rockhopper 29ers and the Pitch 650B which has 27.5 wheels. We also have a few bikes available for children. Please enquire for sizes.
Q: Can my children go kayaking?
A: Yes, we have family friendly sit on tops kayaks for children aged 2yrs + that can be hired for an hour upwards. Visit our Family Adventures page for more information. We can do guided trips in the sea kayaks for age 8yrs and above. Minimum age for rentals of the sea kayaks is 15yrs.
Q: Where is your base?
A: We are located at 8 Anakiwa Road, RD1, Picton, 7281. We are a big green farm shed on the corner of Queen Charlotte Drive and Anakiwa Road. Driving Times – Havelock 20 minutes, Picton 30-40 mintues, Nelson 75 minutes.
Q: Can I leave my vehicle and/or excess luggage at your base?
A: Yes, you can store excess luggage at our base and we have a large car park to leave your vehicle.
Q: What is the address for our GPS?
A: 8 Anakiwa Road, RD 1, Picton, 7281 should work on all devices.
